Hello, I’m Dario, an Illustrator and Printmaker originally from Swansea, now based in Cambridge.

Nature has always been a driving force in my life. I have vivid memories of growing up chasing tortoiseshell butterflies in my garden in South Wales, and visiting natural history museums. More recently, I've had the privilege of witnessing majestic humpback whales feeding in Norway’s fjords, stumbling upon a pine marten in northern Scotland, and watching peregrine falcon chicks fledge amidst Cambridge's college rooftops.

This deep connection to the natural world has shaped my work across various mediums - drawing, screen printing, lino cut, collage, photography, and digital art. Today, I blend traditional techniques with digital methods to create tactile, emotive art that speaks for my deeper appreciation for the environment.

Conservation, respect for wildlife, and celebrating the beauty of nature are at the heart of my creative practice and my life.
